We soon grew to include robotically automated polishing services, while perfecting our electroplating and PVD capabilities. We continue to be a leader in the decorative finishing industry which led us to combine our expertise with other finishing companies that make up QCP Enterprises. So who is our new parent company?

QCP Enterprises

QCP Enterprises is a plating and manufacturing company that has provided excellent metal finishing services since 1955. They began as a high-quality silversmithing and plating company and grew into fulfilling commercial and industrial metal finishing needs worldwide. They are now the leading finishing company for aviation interiors, providing luxury furnishings for aircraft cabins. QCP clients include leading aerospace companies such as Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Rockwell Collins, B/E Aerospace, Honda, and Learjet.

Other services they specialize in include decorative plating on metal surfaces and electroplating on non-conductive substrates. Like Bend Plating, QCP Enterprises also offers rapid prototype production for small quantities. They electroplated door handles for the Tesla Model S when they were still a concept, initially providing prototypes before moving into full production. Other notable accomplishments include electroplating headgear and other props in different colors and finishes for the Blockbuster hit, Thor, and developing a new stainless steel finish for faucets which Home Depot and Lowe’s successfully brought to market.

Bend Plating and QCP Enterprises

Bend Plating will join the QCP family of companies which consists of a dedicated aviation facility on the East Coast and two multi-service facilities in California. These include:

• PG Imtech: a premiere anodize, impregnation, vapor degreasing processor, in California.
• QCP Enterprises East: a dedicated facility specializing in aviation in Brunswick, Georgia.
• QCP Enterprises West: a flexible facility with the capability to take parts from concept, rapid prototype to full production volumes in over 125 finishes.
